Colorado

Colorado is one of my favorite places to visit. I traveled there many times growing up, but it was when I spent a summer in Denver in between my junior and senior year of college that I fell in love with the state. I now go back every summer for vacation. Most of that time has been spent in Dillon, CO where my parents spend the month of July. It is so beautiful in the mountains and I look forward to hiking new trails every time I visit. This past July was no exception. This time around I asked my parents to take me on a "hard" hike and they certainly came through on my request. I of course took my camera with me. Here are some of my favorite pictures from that trip. If you see something you like you can go to my website at http://www.mdavisonphotography.com/ to purchase photo cards or a print.

I could have spent all day in this meadow of flowers!

Here is a picture with me and my parents. I have two of the greatest parents. We a great time together in Dillon.

Have a wonderful week

Welcome to m.davison photography's blog! Join me on my journey as a budding photographer. Photography has become so much more than a hobby; it is a passion. I strive to capture the beautiful moments of life. This summer has been filled with such opportunities. One of the first opportunities that came my way was to take pictures at a wedding with my friends Erin and Sarah who own The Locket Photography. I am blessed to have such talented friends who are willing to share their knowledge with me. You can check out their work at http://www.thelocketonline.com. It was my first time shooting a wedding, and I wasn't totally sure what I was doing but you have to start somewhere! It was an amazing experience and so much fun. Hopefully more opportunities like this will come my way. Here are a few of my favorites from that day.

Have a wonderful week.
