Emily and Randon are Married!

Emily and Randon were married on a beautiful fall day in October.  It was such a joy to capture all the moments of their wedding day.  My favorite part of the wedding is seeing the expressions on the bride and groom's faces as the bride is walking down the aisle.  Emily had the biggest smile on her face, and you could see the pure happiness in Randon's eyes.  Here is a glimpse at Emily and Randon's wedding day.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving; I know I'm ready for some turkey and pumpkin pie!

The Burkemper-Gantz Family

It was such a treat to photograph Beth, Rob and their son Max.  For one they have an amazing house that I fell in love with immediately.  The old barn and big back yard with horses and awesome brick wall were PERFECT for our session.  It really is a photographers dream to have such variety in one location.  Max was a total ham and did a great job giving me his serious face.  Beth, Rob and Max, thank you for letting me into your beautiful home and allowing me to photograph your family.

Have a wonderful week! Minda

Jace's 1st Birthday

This weekend we celebrated my nephew Jace's first birthday.  I can't believe he is one already!  Jace LOVES rubber duckies so fittingly that was the theme for his party.  It was a great day spent with family and friends.  I love every minute I get to spend with Jace, he is such a riot.  Here are a few pictures I took during his party.  I had hoped to take some one year photos, but we ran out of time during the excitement of the day.  Hopefully I'll get a chance to take some in the next couple of weeks.

Jace's birthday cake made special by Grandma Davison :)

This is one of my favorite pictures, isn't he the cutest thing ever!?

Jace was more interested in standing on his gifts than opening them
He loved his musical Winnie the Poo card from Tony

Jace wasn't a fan of his birthday hat

Wedding Preview: Shannon and Jay

I had the opportunity to shadow and second shoot with Bethany from Photos by Bethany. It was a great learning experience, and I loved observing another photographer in action.  Shannon and Jay's wedding definitely goes in my top 10 most fun weddings I've been a part of.  It was great being the second shooter because I was able to capture the fun and laughter that was had by everyone that day.  I love capturing the moments that truly show a couple's personality and feelings that are shared between each other and their family and friends.  Thank you Shannon, Jay and Bethany; I had a blast!

Have a great week! Minda
