I photographed Jana and Rick's wedding last September, and in July I had the pleasure of taking some maternity pictures for Jana. Baby Morgan should be arriving any day now! Congratulations, I'm so happy and excited for you guys.

Summer Family and Maternity Sessions
WOW! It has been way too long since I last posted. I have been shooting like crazy and took a much needed vacation/retreat to my favorite place in the whole wide world - Dillon, Colorado. I have a ton to blog about, so here we go. I had so much fun with my friends Rebecca and John, and their darling little girl Charlotte who will be two in October. We started our session just outside of Mount Vernon at Abbe Creek School, and then wrapped things up at their house. It was a PERFECT June night. The lighting was do die for!
This is one of my favorites from the session

Alison and Ryan are Married!
I had so much fun photographing Ryan and Alison's wedding this past weekend. Ryan and Alison are one of the cutest couples ever! The day was filled with so much love and happiness, it was so beautiful. Here are a few of my favorites from their wedding day.
After the ceremony Alison and Ryan drove away in Alison's grandfather's restored Ford.
The Grand River Center is such a gorgeous venue, I had lots of fun taking pictures there.
The awesome wedding party...
...did I also mention how much fun they were!? So fun to hang out with these guys all day.

Mark and Amanda are Married!
Mark and Amanda were married on June 25 at Danforth Chapel in Iowa City. It was a day full of love, laughter, family, rain and fire alarms. I think it is safe to say that the day didn't go exactly as Mark and Amanda, or I for that matter, had planned. Despite the never ending rain, a wedding ring that was lost but luckily found again, and the fire alarm going off three times at the reception site (the third and final time right in the middle of dinner) Mark and Amanda's wedding day was beautiful. Mark and Amanda planned everything perfectly - from the reception decorations, to the flowers, to Amanda's dress, everything fit them to a T. Thank you Mark and Amanda for letting me be a part of your wedding day. It has been such a joy getting to know you both. Congratulations and many blessings on your life together as husband and wife.
