Noah Alan
Over Christmas I took a few 9 month photos of my nephew Noah and just had to share! He still doesn't like to smile for the camera. :)

Exciting things to come!
Can I just say that I'm quite excited for the new year. There are big things in store for my photography business and in my personal life, and I'm REALLY excited to share everything with you. It is going to be hard to not spill all the beans at once, but I'm going to try my hardest to contain myself.
My first bit of news that I have to share is that I have a new logo - Woot! Woot! I am so happy to have an "official" logo for my business, so without further ado...

With the new logo is going to come a whole new look and style for Minda Davison Photography's web presence so stay tuned for more exciting unveilings in the upcoming months.
2012 is going to be an adventure and I can't wait! Thank you to all of my friends and family who continue to encourage and support me as I follow my dreams.

So much to be thankful for
The holidays are a time of year when many people take a moment to reflect on their life and remember all the the things they're thankful for. I'm no exception, and especially during this past Thanksgiving everything that I'm thankful for was at the top of my mind. Over the past month there have been way too many people in my life who I love and are important to me who have been affected by death and illness. It makes all of the things I have been worrying about over the past few months seem not as terrible or insurmountable as I thought. I've been reminded that in life you never know what is around the corner, and that I need to stop spending so much time worrying about all the "unknowns" in my life and start trusting that everything will work out. So much easier said that done! Letting go and trusting that what is meant to be will be is the hardest part. Thankfully I have an amazing family and friends who support me and remind me how blessed I am.
What would a girl do without her girlfriends?
My nephews, Jace and Noah, have brought so much love into my life.

Swartz Family Session
I love the Swartz family; they are some of my favorite people. They are good family friends and whenever we all get together it is never a dull moment and our family session was no exception.
I had so much fun taking these pictures at the end - Love you guys!

Noah Alan - 6 Months
Noah is my oh so cute and adorable nephew. My family was together in Marshalltown last month so I took the opportunity to snap some 6 month photos. Like his 3 month photos, Noah decided to be very serious for the camera and not smile, I guess he is working on his model face.
The one smile of the day.
Future Wartburg Knight like his mom, dad and aunt. :)

The Hemming Family - Marshalltown Family Photographer
Here is a little preview from the family session I had last weekend back in my hometown. Sarah and I are friends from high school, and I was so excited when she asked me to take pictures of her family. Whenever I do photo sessions with my friends and their families from my hometown I always have a moment of "who would have ever thought I would be a photographer and doing a photo session with________ (insert name here)" I LOVE it, I love how wonderful and unexpected life is. So without further ado....
