Lana + Tom - Engaged

I love Lana and Tom!  Lana and I first met four years ago while I was living in St. Paul, MN, when she and her sister Melynda were visiting the Twin Cities one weekend.  Melynda and I were counselors together at Riverside Lutheran Bible Camp in Story City, IA.  Fast forward to last winter and I get a new client inquiry from Lana!  Low and behold she was living in Iowa City as well, and we were both attending the same church but had never crossed paths.  I'm so glad our paths have crossed again; Tom and Lana are so much fun.  Plus it is always nice to have friends who enjoy the same things I do....eating ice cream, going to Blackstone and playing Wii!  Here are a few pictures from Tom and Lana's engagement session in Iowa City.

Engagement - Ryan and Alexas

I LOVE my job!! Last weekend I went out to California to take Ryan and Alexas engagement pictures.  What a dream come true.  Thank you Ryan and Alexas's for being wonderful hosts, it was such a fun weekend.  Beaches, a beautiful couple, wine, yogurtland and lots of laughter - I couldn't have asked for anything more.  I can't wait for your wedding next summer in Iowa City!

Emily and Randon in Love

Emily and Randon are getting married in October, and I had a blast taking their engagement pictures on Wartburg's campus.  Emily and I were communication majors at Wartburg; who would have thought that five years later I'd be her wedding photographer!  Emily and Randon have a fun playful relationship, and this was captured beautifully at the end of our session when they got into a bit of a water fight in a water fountain.
