Leslie & Eric ~ Married!
I had SO much fun photographing Leslie and Eric's wedding last weekend in Cedar Rapids. The bridal party was hilarious, I don't think I've been so entertained at a reception that I was working at. I met Leslie and Eric through our mutual friends Michelle and Tim, and I feel so lucky to have gotten to know Leslie and Eric and that I can call them my friends. Leslie and Eric, you are one of the sweetest couples I have ever met. Your family and friends are just as sweet and wonderful, and I loved spending the day with you guys. Congratulations on becoming Mr. and Mrs.! Enjoy your sneak peek.

Reichert Ott Family Session
My mini session with Jenny and her two boys might just go down in the books as the most exciting and fun family session I've done. Quincy and Ryan are little fireballs, and have so much energy. No one could handle these two boys better than Jenny, she was made to be their mom. After our session we hung out and ate Oreos, what more could this photographer ask for!? Jenny, thank you so much for letting me spend time with you and your beautiful boys. I had a blast!
The boys were all about the "funny faces" portion of the shoot.
Helloooo stunning eyes!
While I was taking this series of pictures of Quincy and Ryan, I couldn't help thinking about my two brothers and how close they were growing up and still are. You guys are in for a lifetime of fun, trouble making, and being best friends.

Clough Family Session
Last weekend I had a fun photo session with the Clough Family. Thank goodness for gazebos, because as soon as we headed out to start our session it started to rain. One thing I've learned as a photographer is that you should always have a plan B, and it is important to go with the flow. Despite the brief rain shower we had a great morning, and little Rowan "worked" it for me at the end of the session. Thank you Clough family for inviting me take pictures of your beautiful family. I hope you enjoy your preview.

Michelle + Tim
I'm so excited to preview Michelle and Tim's engagement session; I think Michelle and I have been planning and talking about this session for at least a good two months. It could also be because Tim, Michelle, and I are all roommates. :) Our life is like an episode of Three's Company, except we don't have a crazy landlord, and there is only one single roommate....me. :) Michelle and Tim are great friends, and I have loved getting to know them even better over the past year and a half. Their relationship is full of love, laughter, respect and happiness for each other and they life they share together. I can't wait to photograph their wedding next June! Tim and Michelle - you're the greatest!!
Cute, Cute, Cute!

Crystal and Reed are Married!
Crystal and Reed were married on August 6 in Crystal's hometown of Lisbon. Family and friends came together to celebrate Reed and Crystal's love and commitment to each other. Crystal and Reed, I wish you nothing but the best as you begin your life together as husband and wife. It was an honor to be a part of your day.
One of my favorites
Love this picture of the guys, would you believe it was their idea to hold the flowers.
