I had the pleasure of meeting Mark and Amanda in June, and I have enjoyed getting to know them over the last month. The three of us ventured to downtown Iowa City for their engagement shoot. It has been a rainy and humid summer so far, and I was happy that we ended up having beautiful weather the day of their session. It is of course always fun for me to take pictures for my friends and family, but I really love it when I am able to meet couples and learn all about them and their relationship. I never get tired of hearing about how a couple met and how they got engaged. Hearing my client's stories and creating a relationship with them is one of my favorite parts of being a photographer.
